The only remedy is to replace it with the correct Canon/Epson/HP driver, IF available. If you have (inadvertently?) installed this Airprint driver you will absolutely not be able to print our (or any other) Profiling Targets properly, AND not be able to correctly use 'Application Colour Management' in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, Qimage, etc. Important to note is that, although the driver is named 'Airprint', it is not only used for wi-fi printing BUT is also used for printing via USB or Ethernet.Ģ) Cyans and greens printing very light and unsaturated, with cyan turning towards 'turquoise'.ģ) Saturated reds and magentas often printing with cyan in them, with magenta turning towards 'purple'.Ĥ) The 'Color Matching' settings in the menu will usually be wrong, and sometimes be selectable when they should be 'greyed-out'. ![]() These basic drivers are the 'Airprint' ones designed for printing snapshots directly from unsophisticated apps and not for serious photographers who want control over their printing.
